Everything You Need to Know About Working With RGW Institute
We know that taking the first step toward therapy, training, or support can come with questions. Below are answers to the ones we hear most often — whether you’re a potential client, therapist, or referring partner.
What is RGW Institute?
RGW (Relational Growth & Wellness) Institute is a group mental health practice offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy, along with substance use treatment, assessments, and professional development for therapists. We specialize in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for diverse populations.
Where are you located?
We have physical offices in Georgia and offer services virtually across the state. All supervision and most group programs are available via telehealth.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes! We offer HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy.
Do you serve children and teens?
Yes. We offer therapy for children 9+, adolescents, and families. Our adolescent IOP also serves teens ages 13–17.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment directly through our [Contact Page] or call us at (404) 955-0873. Our intake team will match you with a clinician based on your needs, availability, and preferences.
How long are sessions?
Most individual sessions are 45 minutes. Group therapy and IOP sessions may last 60–90 minutes, depending on the program.
What should I expect at my first session?
Your first session will include a clinical intake and discussion of your goals. It's a chance to share your story, ask questions, and collaborate on your care plan.
Do you offer therapy for families?
Yes! We provide both short-term and long-term therapy for families, including parenting/co-parenting support, communication tools, and trauma-informed relational work.
Do you offer non-medication treatment options?
Yes! We offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Neurofeedback for clients seeking non-pharmaceutical interventions for mood, focus, and emotional regulation.
Do you accept insurance?
Some of our clinicians are in-network with select insurance providers. Others operate as out-of-network providers. Our team will walk you through what’s covered and help with reimbursement paperwork if applicable.

Please note: Sessions with our founders, Ya’Ron Brown and Stacee Brown, are billed at premium rates. Please inquire directly for current rates and availability.
Rates may also vary slightly by provider based on licensure level and specialty.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and offer secure online billing through our Client Portal. Payment is required at the time of service.

Do you offer sliding scale or reduced rates?
We have a limited number of reduced-rate spots through our intern program. Please inquire during your intake.
Who is IOP for?
Our IOP is designed for adults, teens, and veterans experiencing substance use, trauma, or co-occurring challenges who need more support than weekly therapy but don’t require inpatient care.
How often do I attend IOP sessions?
Clients attend four sessions per week for 3 hours each session.
Can I work or go to school while enrolled?
Yes. Our IOP offers flexible scheduling options, including evening groups, so you can continue daily responsibilities while receiving support.

Do you offer supervision for APCs in Georgia?
