Led by experienced Licensed Professional Counselors and Certified Professional Counseling Supervisors, our approach blends structured feedback, practical application, and relational learning to support your journey from early clinical work to full licensure.

All prospective supervisees begin with a one-time Supervision Consultation.

This session is designed to:

• Establish expectations for a productive supervisory relationship

• Associate Professional Counselors (APCs) pursuing LPC licensure
• Master’s-level graduates seeking post-degree supervision hours
• Early-career clinicians seeking structure, clarity, and mentorship

• A clear understanding of ethical and legal responsibilities
• Consistent case consultation and clinically grounded feedback
• Support in treatment planning, documentation, and interventions

• Ongoing progress reviews and professional development planning

Licensure Requirements (State of Georgia)

RGW Institute’s supervision program meets all state-mandated guidelines under Rule 135-5-.02, including:

• Minimum of 1,000 hours of directed clinical experience
• At least 35 hours of supervision per year 
• Documentation of all supervision sessions
• Supervision via video, case notes, observation, and direct feedback

We walk with you every step of the way—from documentation to board readiness.

Before entering supervision, all clinicians are required to complete a Supervision Consultation.

This ensures alignment, clarity, and a strong foundation for your clinical growth.
